TR 4L TAC safe lighting (SAFE™, CZ)

TR 4L TAC - tactical safe interior lighting for weapon safes (cabinets) via LED with option of low intensity (red)/high intensity (white). Designed for weapon safes (cabinets) with lockable inner box. The lighting is delivered together with the respective safe as a custom production incl. accumulator (accu is included in the price). Alternatively an external backup power supply can be provided, e.g. TR 1L EXTPWR, AWZ 200, AWZ 222.

This version of the interior vault lighting is designed primarily for large-sized weapon cabinets (for long guns). The philosophy of lighting is such, that tactical night illumination is red with low intensity, so that the safe and its operation do not get too much attention. In addition, even in the dark, the eyes are more accustomed to dim red light and are not dazzled by intense brightness for further possible tactical activity... During the day, on the contrary, the high intensity of white illumination inside the safe does not matter.

Specifications and technical parameters :

LED stripes in aluminum bars with diffuser cover are placed vertically in the front corner(s) of the safe + horizontally in the upper corner of the inner box. LED stripes are connected in parallel (always the same color) - both illuminate when the safe door is opened.

Color temperature: 2700K to 3000K (warm white), 630nm (red)

LED power: 2.4 W/m resp. 4.8 W/m, 9.6 W/m (red), power corresponding to tape length according to the safe size

Power supply: battery 12V/2.2Ah, lead, closed (VRLA-AGM), e.g.: AKU UT1221, PS-1221 VdS, AKU UL2.4-12 or NP2.3-12

Protection: fusible tube fuse 5x20 mm, T 1A/250V, in screwed housing

Cabling: SiF 0.5mm², Cu conductors in silicone insulation, -40°C to +125°C

Control :

Main - concealed microswitch (ON/OFF/ON), toggle. Light intensity: red 25% - OFF - white 100%.

Operating - microswitch with roller, controlled by opening the safe door. The switch closes when the door is opened to 5° or more, switch-off when the door is closed (and locked).

Tested battery life (12V/2.2Ah): cca 200x opening the safe/vault door (2x per day/1 min.), practically 4 to 6 month

Recharging the accu: three-stage charger for Pb battery OptiMATE 1. It is recommended to recharge accu 4x a year according to the intensity of use of the safe. The charger is not included in TR 4L TAC product.

Delivery time: cca 3 weeks (individual adjustment to order)

ATTENTION - lighting can not be ordered separately, only with a safe (vault) as a custom adjustment. The adjustment requires a large proportion of manual work, accurate measurement and positioning of the elements, as every safe of even the same type and batch can vary in millimeters or fractions thereof. This plays a major role in the installation and fine-tuning of the switch-on / switch-off positions, the positioning of the LED strips, the electrical wiring and the wall penetrations, etc.
